Job Location: Bradenton, FL

 

The Director of Clinical Services Home Health will oversee the operations of our home health agency in Bradenton, FL, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations.

 

In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This role requires a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for home health care.

Responsibilities

As the Director of Clinical Services, you will supervise the clinical operations of your team of field staff and report directly to the Agency Administrator. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing. You will need to understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care services and be able to problem solve. Previous home health and management experience will serve you well in this rewarding role, and an excellent knowledge of OASIS and Medicare guidelines is most helpful as you will be reviewing plans of care on a daily basis.  

Qualifications

  • RN licesnse required
  • Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.
  • Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with a review and approval from the vice president operations or regional president
  • Required to have previous experience practicing under the professional license for this position.
  • Required to have minimum of two years of nursing experience within the immediate previous 36 months.
  • Required to have minimum of one year of experience with home health.
  • Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
  • Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
  • Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law
  • Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
  • Preferred previous experience in a management position.
  • Preferred previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
  • Preferred bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers, improve service delivery, and support positive patient outcomes.
  • Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and be able to safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve
    Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
    • Enhabit does not waive this essential function by permitting duties to be performed remotely on occasion to accommodate temporary personal needs, such as appointments, or to operate in crises beyond its control, such as during a natural disaster or pandemic
