Responsible for partnering with and supporting regional leadership through financial and operational analyses on company business segments in partnership. Provides analytical support for variance analysis, review monthly financial statements and productivity reporting, evaluate existing financial operations, and work on special projects, as directed, to review and improve the operation’s impact on the company’s overall financial performance and help business units attain their growth goals. This role will help build the foundation of our operations finance team through resourcefulness and process creation/improvement and support all departments within strategic finance.
1. Maintain the highest level of discretion in dealing with sensitive, nonpublic information.
2. Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with each region, helping operators identify growth,
revenue and cost savings opportunities to drive additional EBIT.
3. Help in project management efforts to build and improve reporting and processes for the financial
operations team in an ongoing effort to enhance the impact we make for ops partners.
4. Generate and distribute operational outlier reports, helping identify branches that need additional support.
5. Support Director of Operations Finance in monitoring on-going branch performance through agency-level financial statements, Homecare Homebase dashboards, and other internal database systems.
6. Prepare and present monthly financial and operational reports and analysis.
7. Conduct financial analysis and modeling.
8. Create and complete weekly and monthly reports to be used for executive management review; create
reports needed to make the review process smooth and efficient.
9. Build strong relationships within the company; especially with regional and branch leaders.
10. Create and modify budget templates by branch; work with departments to ensure required statistics are provided accurately and timely.
11. Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably.
12. Complete all other duties as assigned.
• Required to have Bachelor's Degree or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, related or
analytical field. At least 3 years of equivalent work experience is considered in lieu of degree
requirements.
• Required knowledge and understanding of financial statements and reporting and analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results.
• Required to have advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.) and other advanced formulas, macros, pivot tables, and other advanced features.
• Preferred previous experience in a home health, hospice or other healthcare setting.
• Preferred minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in FP&A, business analytics, or healthcare finance.
• Preferred previous experience using Hyperion Planning/Essbase/Smart View and Financial Reporting
Studio.
• Preferred previous experience using business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or other visualization
tools.
• Preferred familiarity with project and workflow management philosophies.
• Ability to manage quickly shifting priorities as business needs change.
• Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
• Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including Word and Excel.
• Other than for designated full-time remote positions, minimum of three days in-office attendance is
essential to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task
completion, and other position objectives.
